Excellence in Arts
Denver sits up and takes notice when students at Hamilton Middle School exhibit their creativity.
From stunning visual arts to outstanding dramatic performances to our award-winning music program, Huskies find all kinds of ways to express themselves. And our innovative arts instructors expertly guide them through the process.
We never cease to be amazed at what our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders create!
Elective Course Offerings
A menu of artistic instructional courses offers students a wide range of possibilities. These include studies in the following categories:
- Visual Art
- Audio-Visual Technology and Film
- Journalism and Yearbook
- Food and Cooking
- Vocal Music
Extracurricular Artistic Endeavors
In addition to formal classes in the arts, students at Hamilton have the opportunity to perform on the fully equipped stage in our 500-seat auditorium. Student artists build sets, paint backdrops, design costumes, act, sing, dance, and play instruments.
At least two performances each year allow Hamilton student artists the chance to engage in their school in a meaningful way. They make new friends, learn new skills, and push themselves to excel like never before. (Nothing like an audience to boost you to your highest level!)
Hamilton Middle School Dramatic Performances:
- Fall Play
- Spring Musical
