Accelerated Reader Program

Hamilton uses the Renaissance Learning Center’s Accelerated Reader Program, which challenges students in all levels and all programs to read. 

Students take online quizzes after they've read a book on the AR list, and earn points based on level of comprehension. 

Students are encouraged to set themselves goals to aim for at year’s end, including 500 point readers and Million Word Readers.  Awards ceremonies take place in the auditorium in May.
