WHAT DOES A DPS COUNSELOR DO?
In DPS, school counselors are licensed professional counselors who support students throughout their educational experience and advocate for inclusivity, access, and equity. Our counselors primarily support students in 3 key areas in order to maximize student success: Social and Emotional Health, Academic Success, and College and Career planning.
