Did you know DPS offers summer programs by age including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12! Opportunities include a mix of academic content and enrichment where children will experience hands-on learning, explore new skills, and have fun this summer! Some of the programs include Boys & Girls Club, 6th grade Academy, Career Academy, and more!

MY Denver Card
The MY Denver card is a library and recreation card all in one! Youth ages 5-18 can have this key to the city that will get them free access to recreation centers, swimming pools, numerous cultural facilities, and more. The best part? It’s FREE!
City of Denver Resources
For families provided by the City of Denver. This list is not summer specific and offers resources of a wide range including services around mental health, food pantries, housing, utility assistance, women and families, and more. 
DPS Compiled Summer Resources
This resource has a plethora of summer resources for the 2022 summer break. It is organized and broken up into age groups. It also consists of both DPS-run programs as well as DPS partner programs.
Denver Public Library’s Summer of Adventure 2022
The library’s annual summer program opens for registration on May 25th. They’re encouraging those from birth to grade 12 to read, make, and explore this summer through informal learning activities! 
Summer of Sora is the DPS summer reading program To encourage students to enjoy our digital library of over 35,000 eBooks and audiobooks, all summer long. Beginning June 6 and extending for 10 weeks, through Aug. 12, every Sora eBook or audiobook checkout is a chance for students to win prizes. This is a great tool that you can use to connect with various community resources from Adult Education to LGBTQ+ support.
