At Hamilton Middle School, we honor the rich cultures, traditions, histories, languages, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.
This month is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diverse backgrounds that make our school community so special. We recognize the stories that connect us, the traditions that bring us together, and the many voices that strengthen the Hamilton Huskies family.

BESS (Behavioral and Emotional Screening System) is a brief questionnaire that helps Denver Public Schools better understand how students are doing socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. It gives school staff an early look at areas where a student may need additional support, such as managing emotions, relationships, or school-related stress.
DPS uses BESS as one tool to help identify students who may benefit from additional support. It is not a diagnosis or a test of academic ability. Instead, it helps schools respond early and connect students and families with appropriate resources when needed.

Hello, Hamilton Huskies!
The start of the school year is right around the corner!6th graders only will begin school on August 24 and August 25. These special first two days will give our 6th-grade students time to get acclimated to middle school, learn their locker combinations, and meet the 6th-grade staff before the rest of the students arrive.Please note that 6th-grade students will attend the entire week. These two early start days are simply designed to help our newest Huskies get comfortable before the full student body returns.
If you have not yet registered your student, please log in to your Parent Portal and complete the online registration as soon as possible.
New School Hours
Student Start Time: 8:50 a.m.
Student End Time: 3:50 p.m.
Breakfast: 8:20–8:40 a.m.
