COVID-19 Testing for Students

Posted November 10, 2020

Our partners at Denver Health School-Based Health Clinics (SBHCs) wants to remind everyone that Denver Health is excited to offer COVID testing to ALL DPS STUDENTS when they are sick.

The SBHCs currently DO NOT do any testing for anybody who does NOT have symptoms even if they are asked to quarantine because they were in contact with a case.

Summary:

  1.  COVID Testing of ALL STUDENTS who are sick and evaluated by a provider
  2. No additional testing for staff outside of the COVID CO testing
  3. NO contact tracing testing
  4. NO testing for anyone without symptoms
  5. NO testing for exposure without symptoms
  6. NO screening testing (i.e.: a back to school test)
