Creativity is one of the freest forms of self-expression.

It’s important to think outside of the box – after all, new problems require new solutions and creativity can help find those solutions!

Importance of the Creative Process

  • All children need to be creative to freely express themselves.
  • Freedom of expression helps create something that is your own.
  • Creative activities help children express and cope with feelings.
  • A student’s creative activity can help parents and teachers understand what that student is thinking or feeling.
  • Creativity is great for mental growth!
  • Provides opportunities for new ideas

  • Gives room to problem-solve
  • Helps acknowledge and celebrate diversity and uniqueness.

  • Provide activities based on the interests and ideas of children
  • Being creative is more than drawing or painting
