Important dates & information for the week ahead.
Currently, there is a winter storm forecasted to hit Denver this weekend. To read more about DPS’s snow day policy, and our plans if a snow day is called click here.
Students, please remember when you are in the building no hats, no hoods, and no phones. Please maintain social distance in the classroom and hallways, and use hand sanitizer frequently.
Due to new health and safety guidelines after spring break there will no longer be Group A & Group B students. Instead all in-person hybrid learning students will come to school four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday)!
All hybrid learners will come in-person starting on Tuesday, April 6!
Wednesdays will still be virtual asynchronous learning days.
At this time we cannot accommodate any 100% remote learners changing to hybrid learning. Once we have implemented the new schedule of hybrid learners attending four days a week we will assess whether we can accommodate more students for in-person learning. We will notify families at that time.
If your child needs to replace a damaged chromebook or charger come to Hamilton for:

Currently, there is a bill in the state legislature that could impact CMAS testing. Until we have more information we cannot finalize our testing schedule. We will be having a town hall to answer questions about CMAS on Thursday, March 18! The information on how to join is below.

The 7th Annual All For One Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Wellshire Golf Course. MARK YOUR CALENDAR now for one of the best golf tournaments of the year. To learn how you or your company can be a part of this great community event, click here.
The Annual All For One Golf Tournament began in May 2014 with a simple idea: Bring the community together around a fun golf tournament to benefit our local schools (Samuels, Southmoor, Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson). School System funding has been reduced and many beneficial activities were being eliminated. Six years later with over $20,000 in donations to our schools, the All For One Golf Tournament continues to make an impact for students in our local community.
Here are a few things that were made possible through All For One donations:
Since the pandemic began a year ago, the district and our leadership team at Hamilton have reached out to our parents, students, and staff members many times to understand the challenges you’re experiencing and what more we can do to support our community. This is a very difficult time for all of us, and we thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
DPS released the latest round of surveys on Mar. 10. If you haven’t already, we ask that you please take a few minutes of your time today to complete the latest survey. The last day to complete the survey is Friday, Mar. 26. This survey asks questions to help us plan for next school year — and to gather feedback for our search for DPS’ next superintendent. It is completely confidential, so please feel free to openly share your feedback.

DPS needs to hear from more Hamilton families.
It is important that our families at Hamilton are represented in the district-wide feedback, as DPS has been using feedback from previous surveys to make significant improvements to the student experience. However, our results show we are not hearing from everyone. We encourage you to make your voice heard by sharing your feedback through the surveys.
Latest survey results: We invite you to read through our key findings from the December survey here, which are being used to make changes that specifically target student well-being and equity.
If you have any questions or need help while filling out this survey, please email FACEHelpline@dpsk12.org.
Thank you! We appreciate your feedback.
¡Gracias! Agradecemos sus comentarios.
