6th Grade Academy is a fun way to learn your way around the school, meet your teachers and classmates, and participate in fun activities to get ready for middle school! You can sign your student up here.
To help with the transition back to full in-person learning We will be holding 7th and 8th Grade Orientations this year! At orientation students will participate in fun activities, and get their schedules for the 2021/22 school year!

Parent / Guardian please pull into the circle drive to start the registration process. (You will not get out of your vehicle).
We will bring the paperwork to you and you will park in the parking lot to fill out the paperwork (street parking is also available if needed) When completed, please drive around to the circle drive to drop off completed paperwork.

We are excited to announce our bell schedule for 2021-22! Our start and end times have been updated to 9:05-4:05.
We also will have a HUSKY DAY where the advisory is 60 minutes long once per week and students will get to engage with one another and we will be able to build up our school culture! This model is still being worked on, and we will share it once it is complete!

Dear Hamilton Community,
I want to thank Dr. Sawyer for his incredible service to the Hamilton community over the years. Dr. Sawyer has led the school efforts in becoming an International Baccalaureate School, overseen the school remodeling, created a vast array of social emotional supports for children, developed a rich after school program, and raised student achievement. Please join me in thanking him.
With Dr. Sawyer’s departure it has left a vacancy at the principal position. As we start the school year we have chosen to begin with an interim principal who will lead the school during this transition period. By delaying the hiring process we will be able to get a strong applicant pool, and have the time to collaborate with family and staff in giving input around whom we should select as the permanent principal. For the first semester we are fortunate to have Ana Mendoza agree to serve as the interim principal. Ms. Mendoza was the principal of West Early College in DPS for many years and has great knowledge and expertise in running a school. Please join me in welcoming her to the Hamilton community!

Quiero agradecer al Dr. Sawyer por su increíble servicio a la comunidad de Hamilton a lo largo de estos años. El Dr. Sawyer ha liderado el esfuerzo para que la escuela fuera un centro de Bachillerato Internacional, ha supervisado la remodelación de la escuela, ha creado una gran variedad de apoyos socioemocionales para los niños, ha desarrollado un rico programa para después de clases y ha incrementado los logros estudiantiles. Les pido que se unan a mi agradecimiento.
La marcha del Dr. Sawyer ha dejado una vacante de director. A medida que iniciamos el año escolar, hemos optado por comenzar con una directora interina que liderará la escuela durante este periodo de transición. Al retrasar el proceso de contratación, podremos disponer de un amplio grupo de solicitantes y tendremos tiempo de colaborar con las familias y el personal para que ofrezcan sus sugerencias sobre quién debería ser el director permanente. Tenemos la fortuna de contar con Ana Mendoza, quien ha aceptado ser la directora interina durante el primer semestre. La Srta. Mendoza fue directora de West Early College en DPS durante varios años y cuenta con una maravillosa experiencia y conocimientos a la hora de dirigir una escuela. وال يسعني إال أن أشكر الدكتور سوير على خدمته الرائعة التي قدمها لمجتمع هاميلتون على مر السنين. قفد قاد الدكتور سوير الجهود في المدرسة لكي تصبح مدرسة تمنح شهادة البكالوريا الدولية، كما أنه أشرف على إعادة تصميم المدرسة، وخلق منظومة واسعة من الدعم العاطفي االجتماعي لألطفال، كما قام بتطوير برنام ًجا ثرًيا لفترة ما بعد الدراسة، فكان له عظيم األثر في االرتقاء بمستوى إنجازات الطالب. لذلك أدعوكم ألن تشاركونني في تقديم الشكر له.
بمغادرة الدكتور سوير، أصبحت وظيفة المدير شاغرة. ومع بدء العام الدراسي، رأينا أن نبدأ باختيار مدير مؤقت سيقود المدرسة خالل هذه الفترة االنتقالية. إن إعطاء فترة أطول لعملية التوظيف تجعلنا قادرين على الحصول على مجموعة قوية من المتقدمين لشغل تلك الوظيفة، كما أنه سيكون لدينا الوقت للتعاون مع العائالت والموظفين من أجل تقديم وجهات نظرهم حول من يجب أن نختار كمدير دائم. بالنسبة للفصل الدراسي األول، نجد أنفسنا محظوظين، حيث وافقت آنا ميندوزا على العمل كمدير مؤقت. السيدة ميندوزا كانت مديرة College Early West التابعة لمدارس دنفر العامة لسنوات عديدة ولديها معرفة وخبرة كبيرة في إدارة المدارس. أرجوا أن تشاركونني الترحيب بها في مجتمع هاميلتون!
