As part of our “Class of 2023” celebration events, 8th-graders will go on a field trip to Elitch Gardens, 299 Walnut Street, Denver CO, 80204 on Thursday, May 18th, from 9:05 am – 4:05 pm. The cost of the ticket to the park is $30.99. Students attending the 8th-grade trip MUST purchase a theme park ticket by visiting the link here.
Below is a checklist to attend the 8th-grade Elitch Gardens field trip:
Complete a paper or digital permission form and purchase your park ticket by visiting the link here by Friday, May 12, 2023, NO EXCEPTIONS. If you have a season park pass, it must be processed prior to the field trip on Thursday, May 18, 2023.
Students must bring their own money to purchase food at the park. The park does not allow outside food or drink.
Students must be on time to their 1st-period class for attendance and bus boarding and will be dismissed from school at 4:05 pm. Students not attending Elitch Gardens will stay with some 8th-grade teachers, who will provide alternative activities for them.
Students are encouraged to wear purple and/or green to show school spirit, comfortable dress code-approved clothing, and tennis shoes (crocs, flip flops, and sandals are not allowed).
Students must ride the school bus to and from the park and CANNOT stay at Elitch Gardens.
If you are in need of financial assistance, please fill out the form here by May 1st. Submissions will be reviewed and recipients will be notified by May 10th.
Parents who choose to visit the park on the same day and time will be considered the general public, and will not be acting as chaperones. You will be responsible for driving yourself and will need to pay $25.00 for parking.
