Higher Learning U Inc. is a non-profit (501c3) focused on equity, creating safe, healing, and healthy systems and environments. We are about community, creating and sustaining collective transformation and mindsets. As we exist at a pivotal point in our lifetime we believe that lasting change happens when we work together. Working together, we can heal the wounds of our country, our communities, our families, and ourselves. We are creating our destiny right now!
It Was A Great Time!
Special thanks to Dr. Ryan Ross and Jhasmyne Cooper for sacrificing their time on a Friday evening to show up and emcee our evening showing the Black Girls Matter and the Black Community Matters. You are fabulous in word and deed. Some people talk about it, other people do. Thank you for doing it.
This was a slice of the joy from our participants after the show.

After months of learning and growing together this group of young people came together from schools across Denver to showcase and celebrate Black Beauty, Black Genius, and Black Love.
Our proudest moments came when some of our young ladies shared their dreams and some of them said that they dream of working with us at AAYLS.
The community and love that was shared and displayed among all that were involved was truly inspiring and uplifting.

Yes, we were tired but it was worth all the hard work, long days, and nights just to see the joy and hear them say how amazing they felt about themselves and their accomplishments.
We got to be a part of transformations and that makes it all worthwhile.
See you at the Summit.
Wish us well on our Sisterhood Leadership Journey to Uganda.
Thank you to all those who supported our community and showed up to inspire the next generation.
Sista 2 Sista Mentoring Day

Young ladies 3rd grade- College participated in a day of learning, growing, and fun. These beautiful girls got to engage in activities with other young ladies from different schools and different life experiences.

The Colorado Community Church was filled with Black Girl Joy as a couple of hundred girls participated in team challenges, failed, and succeeded together.
Quotes:
“The day went by so fast.”I had more questions and more to say.”Is this available to all schools?”

They were so focused on being great teammates and learning how to use their voice.
