DPS Community Hubs

Community Hubs are dedicated to promoting equity and inclusion across our communities. Everyone should have equal access to opportunities, resources, and support, regardless of their background. Our Community Hubs celebrate diversity while addressing the unique needs of our community members. To ensure inclusivity, we work to remove barriers and make our programs accessible. We provide physical accessibility, language accommodations, and support for diverse learning styles and abilities. We value representation and empower individuals from marginalized groups to participate and lead in our programs. Everyone should have a voice and contribute to our Community Hubs’ success.

Community Hubs are here to serve our students and their families. Though we are not a crisis center, we do provide an array of services and resources for our families. Which includes:

• English classes levels 1-4
• GED English tutoring preparation
• GED Spanish tutoring preparation
• Citizenship Preparation
• Computer/technology support
• Spanish conversation class
• Financial literacy classes and 1:1 coaching
• Play & Learn Early Literacy Parenting classes & workshops
• Basic needs assistance
• Social-emotional support
• Multilingual Education supports (newcomer, immigrants, and refugee families support)
• DPS hiring pipeline: jobs available in teaching, support staff, transportation, food services, facilities, paraprofessionals, and more!
• Workforce development: job placement, resume building, workforce training & interview preparation
