Hamilton Fall Festival

Tomorrow, September 21st from 11 AM – 2 PM

Please join us for our third annual fall festival at Hamilton Middle School. There will be fun for the whole family with games, activities, food trucks, Pumpkin Patch & Fall Mums, Marketplace and SO MUCH MORE! ENTRY TO THE FESTIVAL IS FREE! The vaccine truck will be offering FREE VACCINES FOR ADULTS & CHILDREN. See you there!

Monday, Sept. 23rd

  • Girls Soccer – Bill Roberts MS vs Hamilton @ Hamilton Middle School. Game starts at 4:15 PM
  • Spirit Day Theme – Pajama Day

Tuesday, Sept. 24th

  • Boys Baseball – Merrill MS vs Hamilton @ Hamilton. Game starts at 4:15 PM
  • High School Night Presentation to 8th Grade during advisory. Our awesome Hamilton counselors will be talking to students about continuation requirements, college readiness and more. All in preparation for our upcoming High School Night.
  • Spirit Day Theme – Teachers and Students Swap (students dress like teachers and teachers dress like students)

Wednesday, Sept. 25th

  • Spirit Day Theme – Color Day (Dress in one color from head to toe, or as best as you can)

Thursday, Sept. 26th

  • Prize Day for the first winning house of the 24/25 school year. Who will win? We’ll all find out soon!
  • Cross Country – The Husky Hustle @ Bible Park. Hosted by Hamilton Middle School. First race at 3:45 PM. Kona Ice will be in attendance and remember 20% of sales goes to support Hamilton students.
  • High School Night at Hamilton. This event is open to 8th graders and their immediate family only! Sorry 6th and 7th graders. Your time is coming soon. Several DPS High Schools will be in attendance to answer all your questions about what to expect in HIGH SCHOOL!!! Choice enrollment is coming soon. Be sure to make an informed decision about your student’s future.
  • Spirit Day Theme – Jersey Day (wear your favorite Dallas Cowboys team jersey or another less cool jersey of your choosing)

Friday, Sept. 27th

  • No School for Students. Enjoy your 3 day weekend!

Flag Football Registration Is Now Open!

We are moving on to our 2nd Fall season of the year.  Boys and girls flag football will be available for the students to play for this season.  If your student is interested in playing they must register on Arbiter Sports, and submit their physical before they can try out.  We do not have tryout dates scheduled yet, those dates will be coming soon.  Students must register by October 4th!!!!

Step 1:  Create an account and register your student for the selected sport on Arbiter Sports Website:  2024-2025 Late Fall- Middle School Athletic Registration | ArbiterSports 

Step 2:  Upload Students Medical Sports Physical Examination Arbiter Sports Website.  If your student needs a physical exam, this website will allow you to schedule an appointment for free:  Denver Health School Based Health Canters Locations | Denver Health

Step 3:  Pay for the sport on the Arbiter Sports website.  

Price:  35 dollars or 25 dollars if you qualify for free or reduced lunch

If your student does not make the team, you will have your money refunded.

September MLE DAC

Welcome back to a wonderful school year!  We want to make this year the best yet for our Multilingual families. These meetings help MLL families stay informed of services and programs available to them throughout the district, plus they help them build valuable connections to their school and community. For our first meeting, we’re starting off in the Far Northeast.

Here are the details: 

Date: Wednesday, September 25

Location:  Montbello Middle School

Time: 5:00 – 7:00 pm

This month will be the MLE Parent Academy. Attendees will learn about MLE programs, MLL parent rights, and much more!  Plus, there will be musical and dance performances celebrating Hispanic Heritage month. Click here to see the flyer in English & the 8 most spoken languages in DPS



YouBenefit Applications

If you have not filled out the YouBenefit form yet for this school year, please consider doing so. More than half of our families have already submitted it. The school receives funding based upon our participation rate and we would greatly appreciate it if every family could complete it. As well, My Spark awards eligible families up to $1000 for students to spend on extracurricular activities in January, based upon the YouBenefit submissions.
