Dear Families,

We’re delighted to share some exciting updates with you. We had a fantastic turnout at our first night of Family-Teacher Conferences, and we’re looking forward to seeing even more families at our next night of Conferences on Tuesday, February 25, from 4:30 pm to 8 pm.

Upcoming Schedule Changes

This is a friendly reminder that students have an early release at 1 pm on Monday, February 24, and there is no school for a Hamilton-specific professional learning day on Friday, February 28.

Upcoming Events

We’re counting on your support for our Hamilton Brain Bowl team, which will compete in the Brain Bowl Tournament on Saturday, February 22. Don’t miss the chance to see our talented Huskies in action at the annual Hamilton Talent Show on Thursday, February 27, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 24th:

  • Anime Club: 8:10 to 9:00 AM, Room 104.
  • Student Council Meeting: 8:15 to 9:00 AM, Room 27.
  • Early Release for Students at 1:00 PM. Staff Professional Learning Afternoon.
  • ESTERS Dine Out:  Monday, February 24th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Don’t forget to mention that you are with Hamilton Middle School.

Tuesday, Feb. 25th:

  • Night 2 of Family Conferences – 4:30 to 8:00 PM.

Wednesday, Feb. 26th:

  • Art Club: 4:05 to 5:00 PM, Room 27
  • Girls Basketball: Kepner Beacon vs Hamilton @ Hamilton, game time: 4:00 PM.
  • Boys Basketball: Kepner Beacon vs Hamilton @ Hamilton, game time: 5:00 PM

Thursday, Feb. 27th:

  • Brain Bowl End Of Season Meeting: 8:10 – 8:55 AM, in the community room.
  • Hamilton Talent Show: 5:30 to 6:30 PM @ Hamilton Middle School.
  • PTSA Crazy Hats Skate Party: 6:00 to 8:00 PM @ Skate City Aurora. $7 admission & $5 skate rental.

Friday, Feb. 28th:

  • No school for students/Staff Professional Learning Day

Saturday, March. 1st:

  • Community Clean Up Day 10am-12:30pm.  CLICK HERE to sign up.

Family conferences from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm (10-minute increments), and open house style from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Friday, February 28th, no student contact day / HMS PD day

Family Conferences Night 2

Feb. 25th, 4:30 – 8:00 PM

Greetings Hamilton Families,  

Night 2 of Family Conferences will be held on February 25th from 4:30 -8:00 pm. You can schedule a conference using the links below for any time between 4:30 and 7:00. The 7:00 – 8:00 time slot is for walk-in/unscheduled conferences.

You can schedule a virtual or in-person 10-minute time slot depending on what works best for you and your family. 

  • Before signing up, review your child’s grades on the Parent Portal and discuss which teacher(s) to visit with your child.
  • Sign up for in-person or virtual (Click on the teacher sign-up links below)
    • Each teacher has a unique link to their shared calendar.
  • Let the teacher know if you would like interpretation services.
  • Bring your student to the conferences. 

Automatic email confirmation for each family conference appointment you make will be sent to you, and the video conferencing link will be included if you are participating virtually. Sign up using the file below.

PTSA News and Updates

  • CALLING 7th Grade Parents:  We are starting the 8th grade Continuation Planning and we need 7th grade parents to help host the continuation. Your responsibilities would include, decorating, ushering, organizing and setting up treats for the 8th graders and cleaning up.  Email hamiltonptsadenver@gmail.com if you would like to be on this one-time committee.!
  • ESTERS Dine Out:  Monday, February 24th
  • SKATE CITY NIGHT: Thursday, February 27th 6-8pm
