Our PTSA is so excited to have another year of partnership with Hamilton staff and our community. This is my fourth year at Hamilton and my first year as PTSA President. I served on the board last year as Vice President. I have a 7th grader at Hamilton and a 9th grader at Thomas Jefferson. I am a small business owner and a previous educator with Jefferson County, having taught Kindergarten, 1st grade and ECE. I grew up in Northern Colorado. This wonderful state has always been my home. Our family has lived in Southeast Denver for 13 years and we love this community, it truly is one of a kind.
I am in my second year of serving as the secretary for the Hamilton PTSA and I’m excited for the year ahead. Currently, I have an 8th grader at Hamilton and a 5th grader at Southmoor, both keeping us very busy. I’m proud to say Colorado is the only home I’ve known. I grew up in Aurora and have spent my entire adult life living in our beautiful city of Denver. We moved to southeast Denver 12 years ago and love this thriving community. I’m in my 3rd year as an Instructional PARA at Southmoor and I love my job! I truly value the ability to get to know and work with kids to help them grow and gain confidence in themselves. Most weekends you’ll either find us at one child’s sporting event or outside enjoying beautiful Colorado. I feel lucky to be a part of this amazing Hamilton community!
I have 3 daughters in DPS schools: A 7th grader at Hamilton, a 4th grader at Southmoor, and a Freshman at Thomas Jefferson. I’ve held various volunteer roles in their elementary school years including school auction committee and teacher appreciation. This is my 2nd year on the Hamilton PTSA board as Treasurer. It is a joy to bring the Hamilton community together with PTSA-sponsored fundraisers and events. Professionally, I am a sales representative for architectural building products in commercial construction. We have lived in Southeast Denver for 11 years. I love the connections and convenience that our local, neighborhood schools foster.
