Year at a Glance in Visual Arts Class

• Aug.- Sept., and Jan. -Feb.- Drawing focus: pencil, charcoal, marker, colored pencils, crayon, ink, portraits, contour line drawing, blind contour line drawing, gesture drawing, graphic design, open art room design, and organization.
• Oct. and March– Painting focus: tempera paint, watercolor paint, acrylic paint, murals, Hispanic Heritage Month, photography, and collage.
• Nov. and April-3D focus: sculpture, plaster, air dry clay, ceramics, hot glue, and cardboard structures.
• Dec. and May– Portfolio focus: organizing and displaying artwork, and website design.
