Message from Mrs. Dillon

Posted August 22, 2022

Dear Hamilton Families,

I am so excited to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year! I hope your time away from school was relaxing, fun, peaceful, enjoyable, and all the things you wanted your summer to be. My name is Fernanda Dillon, and I am honored to serve as the school principal at Hamilton.

The purpose of this communication is to share important information about the beginning of the school year. Please read through the entire document carefully. If you have questions about the information, do not hesitate to reach out to me or to Assistant Principals, Rachel Langberg (rachel_langberg@dpsk12.net) or Christine Manzanares (c_manzanares@dpsk12.net)

Digital Deets

Hamilton will be using Digital Deets to streamline school-to-home communication this year. The system helps to disseminate school-to-home information smoothly and effectively. Their “one app for all” solution enables all of the members of a school community to easily receive information. Here’s how you can sign up:

      1. Head to www.digitaldeets.com or download their mobile app available for iOS and Android.

      2. Sign up and connect to your child. (No Digital Deets Code for your child? No problem! Use the Look it Up Link.)

      3. You will begin to receive targeted, relevant information related to your children.

Pre-Registration

Each school year, Denver Public Schools requires families to update their student information online in the Parent Portal before attending school via myportal.dpsk12.org. Need help with the portal? Call 720-423-3163 or email dps_portalteam@dpsk12.org. All families who update their information online are also expected to come to the school to complete the registration process. See below for more information.

All families are expected to come to the school to complete registration, review and sign agreements, and get your questions answered prior to the start of school. If you filled out the pre-registration online, you still need to come to Hamilton to complete the registration process.
