On our quarterly meeting with DPS Superintendent, Dr. Alex Marrero on April 11th: We will be taking a deep dive on the proposed security plan and reinstatement of SRO’s in DPS schools in response to the East shootings. BFAC stands ready to collaborate with the district and city to ensure the safety in our schools from guns, shootings, weapons, and the disproportionate detrimental treatment by SROs on our Black students.
