The DPS Shakespeare Festival is the oldest and largest student Shakespeare festival in the country, and perhaps the world, and includes thousands of students and teachers from schools all across the region. The nationally recognized festival is one of only two sites to have received the coveted Folgers Library Shakespeare Stewardship Award.
Our very own drama students and teacher, Nancy Nyhus, attended and participated in the festival this Friday, April 28th. Great job!!!
El DPS Shakespeare Festival es el festival de Shakespeare para estudiantes más grande y antiguo del país, y quizás del mundo, e incluye a miles de estudiantes y maestros de escuelas de toda la región. El festival reconocido a nivel nacional es uno de los dos únicos sitios que han recibido el codiciado Premio de Administración Shakespeare de la Biblioteca Folgers.

This Spring, our Hamilton drama students put on a great show. Seussical the Musical Jr. was a classic of your favorite childhood stories coming to life in the fun-filled production of some of the fanciful tales of Dr. Suess’s work. This was an amazing night filled with singing and dancing, colorful costumes, sets, props, and even a spaghetti dinner! Thank you to all who came and supported our program.
Esta primavera, nuestros estudiantes de teatro de Hamilton dieron un gran espectáculo. Seussical the Musical Jr. fue un clásico de tus historias favoritas de la infancia que cobran vida en la divertida producción de algunos de los fantásticos cuentos del trabajo del Dr. Suess. ¡Esta fue una noche increíble llena de canto y baile, disfraces coloridos, escenarios, accesorios e incluso una cena de espaguetis! Gracias a todos los que vinieron y apoyaron nuestro programa.
