National Honor Society of Dance Arts

Posted February 12, 2024

Hamilton will start a new chapter of the National Honor Society of Dance Arts on February 12!

What is the National Honor Society of Dance Arts? The Mission of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA) is to recognize outstanding Artistic Merit, Leadership, and Academic Achievement in students studying dance in public and private schools in K-12 education, dance studios, performing arts organizations, and colleges / universities. As well as to foster an appreciation for dance as a true art form and one worthy of recognition and prestige.

Our Hamilton Junior chapter will present opportunities for students to deepen their dance education, perform at Hamilton and community events, take on leadership roles within our chapter, earn their induction into the NHSDA, be recognized for their work and dedication, and lastly to help fundraise for our Hamilton dance department.

All students at Hamilton Middle School are welcome to join, no prior dance experience necessary. Please complete this form to sign up. See Miss Andi Leggett with any questions.
