News & Notes

Hello Hamilton Families,

As we prepare for a return to in-person learning, I want to be sure you have the most updated information for your reference.

To check your child’s cohort please use these resources on our website: https://hamilton.dpsk12.org/2020/11/10/how-to-find-your-cohort/

  • Monday, 1/18 there are no classes for students in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
  • Tuesday, 1/19 will be an asynchronous day for our students. Teachers will be giving students lessons to complete independently. Importantly, we will have a school-wide lesson that is required of all students on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and leadership. All staff are in training to prepare for hybrid learning.
  • Wednesday 1/20: Students all return to their regular, virtual/remote learning schedule.
  • Orientation for in-person students will follow this schedule (note the revised dates, as announced prior). Unfortunately, no transportation is available, unless a student has IEP-supported transportation. We need all families of in-person students to promptly drop-off and pick up their students according to this schedule, or have their in-person student walk home at the dismissal time. We will review arrival and drop/off procedures in coming communications and with students. READ MORE >>>
