Comprehensive Health Courses

Course Information and Process: The ultimate goal of this course is to provide students with factual information from research-based curriculum resources and educators. The information provided is scientifically accurate information and not opinions, values, beliefs, or suggestions. When students, as is natural, ask questions that are not answerable by facts, they are directed to speak to a parent, guardian, or trusted family member about their question.

To opt your student out of the course, you will need to complete the form that follows with your information and signature and have your student return this form to their science teacher no later than Tuesday, May 24 by 9:00 am. If your student does not submit this opt-out form by the due date and time, then they will automatically participate in the course. Students who opt-out will be in an alternate location with supervision and an alternate assignment and activity.

  • 8th Grade Course is Monday, May 23 – Wednesday, May 25
  • 6th and 7th Grade Course is Tuesday, May 26 – Friday, May 27
