Attached is the My Spark resource that shows all tutoring/academic services that have partnered with My Spark Denver. This means any family who is enrolled in My Spark can use their card to pay for ANY academic services on the attached PDF. These programs are not exclusive to My Spark participants and are available to everyone.

El Concurso de Ensayos está patrocinado por Optimist International para brindarles a los jóvenes la oportunidad de escribir sobre sus propias opiniones sobre el mundo en el que viven. El enfoque puede abarcar la experiencia personal de un joven, la experiencia de su país o una perspectiva más histórica. ¡Además de desarrollar habilidades de expresión escrita, los participantes también tienen la oportunidad de ganar una beca universitaria!

The Essay Contest is sponsored by Optimist International to give young people the opportunity to write about their own opinions regarding the world in which they live. The approach can encompass a young person’s personal experience, the experience of their country or a more historical perspective. In addition to developing skills for written expression, participants also have the opportunity to win a college scholarship!
Club winners advance to the District contest to compete for a $2,500 college scholarship. The District-level scholarships are funded by the Optimist International Foundations.

Hamilton students participated in the Special Olympics Bowling Competition this week with other middle schools. They all had a blast while exercising their athletic abilities against each other. As a result, all students were placed and our very own Chloe Albanese placed first place amongst her classmates.

Student Council (StuCo) will be collecting donations for the local animal shelter from October 18th to 31st. Houses will have a box for donations. Earn 1 house point for each item donated.

The 2023 Denver South High School Soccer Clinic will offer players of all ability levels instructions on shooting technique, creative and fun goal-scoring games, and drills and activities centered on the idea of creating and finishing scoring opportunities.
