Your Voice/Tu Voz’ Family Survey

The DPS ‘Your Voice/Tu Voz’ Family Survey Opens Next Wednesday, Nov. 1
The DPS “Your Voice/Tu Voz” Family Survey opens next week on Wednesday, Nov. 1 and will close Wednesday, Nov. 15. Families who complete the survey between Nov. 1-15 will be entered to win one of 10 $20 King Soopers gift cards! Responses to the survey inform decisions on how we can better serve our DPS community, so we want to hear from all our families. Unlike previous years, DPS will administer the survey to families once in the fall and will administer to students once in the spring. Click here to see last year’s survey results.

The Round 1 SchoolChoice window for 2023-24 is 10 a.m. Jan. 13 through 4 p.m. Feb. 14, 2023. To participate in SchoolChoice, families submit one SchoolChoice application per student, on which they rank their top schools in order of preference, up to a limit of 12. DPS then uses a computer algorithm that matches students to schools based on those preferences, as well as school admission priorities and available space. Read more here.

GRADE LEVEL ADVENTURE CAMPAIGN!

Hello Hamilton Families – We are excited to kick off the GRADE LEVEL ADVENTURE CAMPAIGN! Click here to donate today!

Please help PTSA raise some much-needed funds for our students!

  • Our goal is to raise $3500 total to help fund an adventure for each grade level as a whole. These adventures can be things like field trips, special speakers or presenters, end-of-year activities, or grade-level celebrations, just to name a few.
  • Grade-level teams will receive funds by submitting a funding request to PTSA.
  • We will review the request as a board and vote on the amount we will be able to fund. We will do our best to distribute the funds equally among grade-level teams.
  • Please note that while these funds will be available to all grade levels, it is up to the grade-level teams to organize the adventure and request funding.

Please consider sharing the donation link with families and friends. If every family at Hamilton were to donate $5 – we would surpass our goal! If you would prefer to avoid fees from the online donation, you are welcome to drop off a check or cash at the front office. Please put it in an envelope marked “Hamilton PTSA”.

PLEASE READ THE ATTACHED FAQ for more information regarding this campaign.

Why is this campaign necessary?

One of PTSA’s main objectives is to be impactful to the student body at large. We feel that it is important for each student at Hamilton to be able to have fun and engaging learning experiences inside and outside of the school. While the school does their best to help make this happen, extra funding is necessary in order for this to be successful.
